About the Owner
My name is Douglas Perry. I was born in Omaha, NE. I began my career as an electrician in 2002. I have worked in and mastered most aspects of the electrical field. I specialize in remodels and troubleshooting existing installations. I have also been trained in lighting design, new technology, national service training, code, and safety compliance. I have been a part of developing multiple companies and finally have one I call my own.
I am excited for the future and help with your electrical needs. I will try to live up to the Lagniappe name and give back to the city that gave me a home.

I have served as a generator technician through Generac since 2011. I am certified for residential and commercial installation, repair and maintenance. With Lagniappe, I am teaming up with Generac again to provide back up power.
I moved to New Orleans in 2015 after I visited for a vacation and immediately felt at home. I started this company to provide a better, much needed electrical service to the New Orleans area. As Lagniappe Electric grows. I will continuously seek new and better technology and information to offer the best service.
